Bemidji

I am in Bemidji at a coffee shop updating my journal. I am suppose to be painting. I conned sis into taking me to coffee shop so I could paint and not have Gaerlen in the way. This morning, I took poollounge float chair, whatever they are called, took some photocopied papers from a couple xml/php/css books that I had put in several plastic bags, and sat in chair in the lake and read. I also had this Rite-in-Rain journal that I took notes in. It was sweet! Cold, but peaceful. I wrapped up in my towel to keep warm. Grandma and Uncle Roger came up with their 3 dogs and 1 of their cats. I played catch with Juster, the big black dog. (Stands hip high). Well, my aim was perfect. I hit the pan on the table with dog toy and just nearly missed Uncle Roger and my cousin who was sitting next to Roger. Dad jumped. I shouted "NO!" Big improvement on my part. I usually shout "Nein!" Still, heads up WOULD have been more appropriate.LOL
Cousin suggested I toss toy on side of the house. I nearly hit a window and almost landed toy on roof. I decided to take my aim and quit. LOL Toy does not float so must use sticks to throw in water. However, with my luck, I would let go of the stick at wrong time and toss it over my head. Don't laugh, I've done that while playing "sticks" with Gaerlen. He laughed, not believing how bad my aim was. Another time I threw the stick and it landed at my feet. Usually, I can get it past my feet. LOL The game sticks is played by throwing a stick underhand into the air and see which person tosses the stick the furtherest. He is only 3, so I try to make it so we both win some rounds. I don't always have to cheat to let him win though. I was actually trying to beat him when my stick landed at my feet.
